Good Friday is a celebration of Jesus’ crucifixion - an eternal symbol that means Jesus has endured the punishment we deserve for our sins. If we believe and trust in Him, our sins are forgiven!
What’s happening
Our Good Friday gathering will be at our usual location - Centre for Ministry, 16 Masons Drive North Parramatta. There’s plenty of parking, but we encourage one another to arrive from 9am to welcome each other in fellowship.
At 9:30am, we’ll have our Good Friday service in the auditorium (the first main hall next to the car park). We have a guest speaker, Darren Hindle, preaching from John 19, which follows the narrative of Jesus’ crucifixion from our series in the Gospel of John.
Midway through the service, kids from pre-school to Year 6 will adjourn to our Way2Go kids program. It’s full of fun interactive lessons, songs, games and craft activities for the children, including an Easter Egg hunt!
After the service, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn behind the auditorium. In the event of bad weather, we’ll move activities inside.
Your RSVP by April 11th would be appreciated for planning purposes.
