Going to church seems to be a central part of life for any Christian. But churches come in so many shapes and sizes, and people come for so many reasons - so what, according to the Bible, should church be like? What are we looking to do when we gather and what are the characteristics of a church that follows Jesus?
In Term 1, we’re going to address these questions by understanding what happened in the aftermath of Jesus resurrection, and the impact he left on history, as the first believers formed the early church. Of their experience, what should remain as a mark of Christians today?
