Term 3 Preaching: Esther


Esther is regarded as the most ‘secular’ book in the Bible. Esther, her uncle Mordecai and God’s people are living in conquered people in a Persian kingdom. You could say they’ve all but assimilated. So where do we see God’s hand, even if His name doesn’t appear in this book of the Bible? And how do we apply this story in the right way as we live in an increasingly secular world?
