It’s been awhile since the last time, but we’ve shared Sunday Services with the Epping Gospel Church a number of times. Our connections with this church has spanned decades - sharing connections with G.D. James and his family (including his son Davidson who preached at our church for a number of years). This church has generously shared their building for us to run youth group, host growth groups and conduct baptisms.
We won't be having a Sunday Service at our usual location on 13th July. We’ll join Epping Gospel for their service which runs a little differently to ours.
9:30 Communion
They share communion every week. During this section, some of the men may share from the Bible or pray. At the end of this section, they have at least a 5 minute break before starting what they call the Bible Hour.
10:15 Bible Hour
The Bible hour is a little like our usual Sunday Service - with singing, sharing and a message from the Bible. Pastor Joel (from our church) will be giving the talk from Ephesians 2, about the gift of grace. Because it’s holidays - there won’t be a kids program. However, the service is intended to be engaging for all ages.
After the service (around 11:15am) we will share fellowship in the adjoining hall. Epping Gospel will appreciate if we can help supply some morning tea.
